Over 400 swimmers will open the season in the Open Water Crossing XII Beaches in San Javier (04/07/2014)

More than 400 swimmers are expected to participate on Sunday July 6 at the Beaches Cruise XII and II San Javier Mar Menor Beaches Popular Cruise on the beach in Santiago de la Ribera, next to the Yacht Club, organized by the San Swimming Club Javier-Mar Menor with the cooperation of the City of San Javier.

Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo, President Swim Club-San Javier Mar Menor, San Nicolás Joaquín, and testing coordinator and head coach of Club, Ricardo Moran presented this morning voyage, which two years ago opened to non-federal fans, will adding a Popular Cruise, "for whose participation does not require special preparation," said Ricardo Morán, with races 150, 200 and 300 meters.

Club president Joaquin San Nicolás stressed the importance of this crossing, which opens the season in open waters, to the Club de San Javier which emphasized "good health" which translates into five regional and national sports champions, one swimmer in the High Performance Center of San Cugat, who will participate in the European Championship for teams in Holland, and other swimmers on July 9 will compete for the national title in Badajoz.

San Nicolas said the involvement of swimmers, family and all the staff of the Club in the smooth running of the same, and the organization of the crossing as well as the achievements, thanks, added to the unconditional support of the City of San Javier, and General Air Academy, for the assignment of facilities.
