A Workshop Theater Festival San Javier way to 20 players to face the stage and the camera (06/08/2014)

The general director of Cultural Industries and Arts, Marta Lopez-Briones, and the Councillor for Culture of the City of San Javier and director of Festival Theatre, Inmaculada García, attended this morning's workshop interpretation 'The work of the actor: stage and camera 'within an integrated programming Theater Festival San Javier course and ending today.

The workshop, which was attended by a dozen professional and amateur actors, has been taught by outstanding professionals from the world of theater born in Murcia and have initiated and developed their careers in the region, as the actors Juan Meseguer, Carlos Santos and Cristina Alcázar or directors César Oliva, Juan Pedro Campoy and Fulgencio Martinez Lax.

Also, the Councillor for Culture and Festival Director highlighted the quality of the course as part of the parallel activities of the Festival, which is complete with two exhibitions, a painter Nono García, author of the 45th edition poster, and a second theatrical masks Teacher ESAD, Alberola Francisco, which opens this afternoon and that can be seen in the Museum of San Javier until 28 August.

The workshop, with a price of 72 euros and bonuses for students in the School of Drama and members of the Group Theatre in San Javier, began on Monday, August 4 with the session 'actor on camera' , given by the actors Carlos Santos and Cristina Alcázar and the participants were able to learn the basics of interpretation before the cameras and how to prepare a casting.

On Tuesday, the director and actor César Oliva Juan Meseguer explained keys Stanislavsky method and new techniques that are still performing at the renowned Actors Studio in New York.

The closing of this workshop was provided by principals and teachers of the School of Dramatic Art Campoy and Juan Pedro Martinez Fulgencio Lax, who analyzed the students creative processes affecting the actor, from writing to the staging.

The regional scene, present in the Festival

This workshop is part of the Festival Theatre San Javier, which this year reaches its 45th edition and which opens tonight with a concert Sergio Dalma offer Almansa Park Auditorium.
