The municipality of San Javier has earned 3 new "Q" for Quality certifications that have been awarded in the last one certification committee of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), so they are already 5 "Q" those that fly in the beaches of Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga.
La Manga del Mar Menor already had since 2010, a "Q" Quality Tourism at Mistral Beach, debuts this summer another "Q" in Pedruchillo.
In Santiago de la Ribera, three beaches, Castillico, I already had, Barnuevo Columbus and have been recognized with the demanding and prestigious quality mark.
At five "Q", nationally recognized four blue flags, international recognition, three of which are flying alongside the flag of the Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism in Columbus Castillico and beaches, in Santiago de la Ribera add and Mistral in La Manga, which also blue flag beach Tabal Bank.
The Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Martinez stressed the importance of making these certifications involve a multidisciplinary reconnaissance work of the various municipal services to meet the quality parameters that represent these distinctive, who act as guarantor of the quality of our beaches both between national and foreign public.
Martinez confirmed that his department will continue to seek new certifications for the municipality's beaches, which are already meeting the same exacting standards of quality, although still not proven.
The mayor of Tourism highlighted the continued efforts of the Department to care what is the largest tourist segment that chooses us, which is the sun and beach, which also offers an unbeatable cultural, sporting and leisure activities, completing a destination increasingly valued by both users and by the business sector of the tourism sector.
