The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez and Utilities Councilman Jose Miguel Luengo, accompanied by the village headman of Roda, Eulogio Sánchez visited this morning the works were carried out in Roda involving the construction of a paved parking 1,500 square meters, with more than 70 seats in the center of the hamlet, and a sidewalk on Calle Infanta Cristina Conde with Guillen, totaling 25,000 euros.
The mayor of San Javier Juan Martínez stressed that the new park, built on an ancient site of undeveloped land, improve aesthetics and accessibility of the pine forest and the civic center.
During his visit to Roda, Martinez announced this week start work on a pedestrian walkway "to join the district, from Roda Golf to Euroroda, which will prevent pedestrians to pass through the side of the road as they do so far" .
The mayor of Utilities, José Miguel Luengo, who recalled that this is a commitment of this Government to neighbors, explained that the work involves a walk of 2 meters wide and 413 meters long that connects the center of Roda with urbanization Euroroda separated by AP7.
The project, awarded by 49,215.6 euros, have a deadline of one month.
The village headman of Roda, Eulogio Sanchez noted the importance of paved parking, "which has been very well received by all the neighbors as it improves and revitalizes what is the center of Roda."
