Groups of Galicia, the Balearic Islands, Andalusia and Murcia will participate in the 26th National Meeting of Folklore San Javier (22/08/2014)

Groups of Galicia, the Balearic Islands, Andalusia and Murcia participate in the XXVI National Folklore Meeting to be held in San Javier on Saturday August 30 organized by the local group of Songs and Dances Mar Menor, San Javier and the Department of Culture the City of San Javier.

The Acting Mayor Carlos Albaladejo, the Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García, group president of Songs and Dances Mar Menor, Salvador Carrasco and professor of traditional dances, María José Ortuño presented this morning at City Hall, the meeting is very balanced by styles and backgrounds of the participating groups, Inmaculada García said.

The groups taking part in the meeting are: Folkloric Group Sant Jordi de Ses Salines, Ibiza;

Traditional Catalmibre Association, La Coruna;

Azahar Group Foclórica of Villanueva algae, Malaga and the host of Songs and Dances "Mar Menor" San Javier group.

The program of the meeting will begin at 19: 00h.
