The Time Bank started this week the 33 workshops which premieres course and 370 enrollees, 38 percent more than at the start of last year, said today Councilwoman Volunteering, Cati Perez presented the offer Time Bank for this course, accompanied by the technique of the council, Natalia Conesa.
The innovations incorporated in offering workshops Time Bank are Pilates, Bike routes, De mil colores (SHG oil painting), Tales and traditional recipes and therapeutic stretches.
A workshop course other monthly or quarterly like soapmaking, laughter therapy and enhancement of self-esteem are added.
The mayor stressed the Volunteer wide variety of materials that reflect the different workshops that can be found from Tibetan yoga, a patchwork, or introduction to philosophy.
Salsa, tango, basic and advanced rociero choir sevillanas are other possibilities that also offer these workshops, English, German and Italian, both grammar and conversation.
Computers, sewing, modeling of tin and silver, the world of the word, the world of mathematics, taichi, automaquillaje, beads, varied work, football, cooking and baking, complete the offer of the workshops whose registration is still open if space throughout the year.
The workshops are held from Monday to Saturday, one day per week, with schedules, according to the workshop, morning and evening, in the Social Services building located on Bernal Street, number 13 of Santiago de la Ribera.
Natalia Conesa recalled that the workshops are aimed at the whole population in general but with the requirement to be enrolled in the Department of Volunteer so they can giving back their time, either as monitors of other workshops, or general volunteering without the intervention of money in no time.
The mayor of Volunteering, Cati Perez noted that the Time Bank works successfully for 9 years in San Javier town who was a pioneer in getting the initiative also plays an important role in social cohesion and a tool implemented for linkage between people.
