A total of 48 students of 2nd High School, Basic Training and 4th of ESO, the IES "Antonio Menárguez Costa", Los Alcazares recently visited the facilities of the Center for Social Services of San Javier, in Santiago de la Ribera , in order to see first hand the operation of Bando Time of San Javier, who was one of the pioneers in Spain.
Students and three teachers who accompanied them were received by the social educator and coordinator of the Time Bank, Natalia Conesa, who offered a talk on the operation of this initiative whose nature makes it a great generator of social resources without intervention the money but time that citizens are willing to invest.
During the visit they met all the dinning of the council also gave the details of the other two municipal projects interrelated with Time Bank such as the Social Volunteering and the Hotel Association.
After the visit, students and teachers expressed their satisfaction with the care and information provided during the same revealing his admiration for the operation of the Social Volunteering and the amount of resources that are generated without involving money.
