Councilman Agriculture, Antonio Luengo opened last December 11 in El Mirador a day of COAG state campaign for the prevention of risks at work in agriculture, along with the director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Region of Murcia, Mª Ángeles Villanueva, in a ceremony attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the president of COAG Murcia, Miguel Padilla, and the president of COAG El Mirador, Emilio Alfonso Martínez, among others.
The event was held in the training room of COAG-IR El Mirador-San Javier titled "You can prevent occupational hazards" is at state level and this year focuses on the prevention of occupational hazards in vegetable harvesting in the olive harvest and prevention of occupational risks from the perspective of gender.
During the morning and in the presence of numerous stakeholders in improving workplace safety on farms different interventions and technical papers related to thematic content of the campaign by different specialists of prevention in the industry sector performed.
Councilman Agriculture, Antonio Luengo emphasized the importance of influencing the awareness and training in occupational safety in agriculture, and held both the development of the campaign and election headquarters in El Mirador COAG for presentation at the region.
