X Conservatory presents its Spring 2015 Courses with professors of international prestige (02/03/2015)

The Conservatory of Music in San Javier hold its X Courses Spring 2015 April 14 to May 31 "with one of the most important deals in recent years" which includes courses in Percussion, Horn, Piano, Cello, Clarinet, Flute and Guitar.

The program also offers a lecture on life and work of Theobold Böhm, architect of the current flute, 150 years later, and a few days of physiotherapy for musicians aimed at students of musical formation of 8 and 9 years old.

Councillor for Education Cati Pérez accompanied today the director of the Conservatory, Francisco Martínez Aranda, and Professor Gabor Marinela, in presenting these courses are conceived "as a complementary activity and educational reinforcement for Conservatory students", but also it is open to the interested public, who may attend as an active student or listener.

One of the teachers guitarist Manuel Barrueco will that come from the United States where he teaches a small group of talented students at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Barrueco has performed in countries around the world, and among other prizes has received two Grammy nominations for his instrumental interpretation.

The poster for teachers includes percussionist José García Abellán, founding member of the Big Band of the Conservatory of Murcia with which even played with jazz greats, Tete Montoliu and Pedro Iturralde.

The course is offered Trunk José Antonio Sánchez García, a concert that was soloist with the Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia and which now forms part of the Community of Madrid Orchestra.
