The Minister of Health and Social Policy and the mayor of San Javier inaugurate the School of Child Care of 0-3 years in Santiago de la Ribera (13/03/2015)

The Minister of Health and Social Policy, Catherine Lorenzo and the mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez opened today in Santiago de la Ribera Center Child Care, CAI, which is operating with 41 students in 0-3 years.

The ceremony was attended by the Director General of Social Policy, Veronica Lopez, the Councillor for Social Services, Francisca Naranjo, and several members of the municipal corporation, responsible for the management of the school and neighborhood representatives invited.

The building, located in a municipal lot at the back of the Faculty of Sports Science, has 6 classrooms, 3 of which are occupied and another 3 prepared to extend the quota of students.

Kitchen, dining and multiple rooms, as well as meeting space management attention and complete the endowment of the building with several outdoor patios with games.

The Center is open from 7:30 to 19: 00h.

Featuring 1 general coordinator of area 1 director, 3 educators, one educational assistant and one cook.

It also offers other services, which facilitate the employment of families, as the clock service from 7:00 to 9: 00h.

and vacation schools at Easter, summer and Christmas, for children 0-8 years.

In addition to the school plan, its management offers other volunteer activities for families who want to as "Aquativos" in a heated pool and an environmental classroom in a farm school.

The building was constructed by a partnership between the City and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia which contributed 600,000, through the Ministry of Social Policy, while the City of San Javier brought the rest to the total amount of construction which amounted to 1,082,752 euros.

Subsequently the City invested another 25,484 euros in furniture and kitchen equipment and pantry and another 70,000 euros in the award for public service management to commercial Naya Ana García, SL "cant".

The new center, with the Infant School La Manga which opens on March 17, fully complete the coverage of education for children from 0-3 years in the municipality of San Javier and in addition to the Infant School of San Javier and the Center for Child Care of El Mirador, said the mayor, Juan Martinez recalled that "there are four centers of these characteristics to serve the citizens of San Javier"
