The Municipal Nursery School in La Manga born with an offer of 107 children aged 0-3 Years (17/03/2015)

The Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez and the Mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez today inaugurated the Municipal Nursery School "La Manga", which offers a total of 107 seats for students from 0-3 years old.

The school, located on a municipal plot of 1.630metros, at km.

13 of the Gran Vía, next to the bridge Estacio, is part of the plan Educa3 Ministry of Education, and is a collaboration of the Ministry, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities of the Region of Murcia and the City of San Javier.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Education, Catalina Perez, Town Planning, Antonio Luengo, the mayor of Public Service, José Miguel Luengo, and other members of the corporation as well as a large neighborhood representation of La Manga.

The center opened last January with an offer of 53 seats, of which there are currently 15 occupied.

The facilities equipped to double the number of students in the future, have 7 classrooms, dining room and kitchen, common areas and management, and a large playground with rubber floor overlooking the sea.

The current center team consists of five people, two nursery workers, assistant, management and maintenance.

The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez stressed the importance of the implementation of this school "that responds to the demand for services from the neighbors."

said that with this school Map of Early Childhood Education in the town already has 4 centers for children of 0-3 years, two nursery schools, one in San Javier and another in La Manga, and two Service Centers completes the Children, one in El Mirador and another in Santiago de la Ribera.

The mayor reiterated the commitment of the government team with La Manga and recalled the recent opening of another service highly demanded in La Manga as was the flag of Sports "that contributes to improving the quality of life of the growing resident population of La Manga ".

The Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez said that the opening of this school, along with 8 other schools in the region within the Educa 3 Plan, "demonstrates our commitment to quality public education and in all corners of Region ".

Sanchez added that "Education will always have priority because it is the best investment, in this case from early childhood."

For Pedro Antonio Sanchez "in La Manga today can live better, with more services," noting that the best way to invest money of all is to use it as demanded by the neighbors. "The Minister also stressed the ability of growth of the School, in order to consolidate a tourism throughout the year, leading to more jobs and provide more families establish their residence in this area ".
