The municipal services beaches this morning withdrew hundreds of jellyfish windblown beaches of La Manga (16/04/2015)

Municipal services of the City of San Javier have withdrawn this morning the hundreds of jellyfish in the last hours were swept by the winds of Levante beach area in some parts of the Mediterranean coast of La Manga.

The Councillor for Tourism and Beaches, Antonio Martinez Torrecillas reported that since early this morning, once referred the coast, municipal machinery began the task of removal of jellyfish in the affected areas and the beach Banco del Tabal and Pedrucho that and are completely free from the presence of coelenterates.

Antonio Martinez also reported this morning the boats from the municipal surveillance and rescue of beaches have scoured the area from the sea, while a coordination plan remains operational with the Directorate General of Fisheries, to monitor the evolution of this episode if a new intervention or action on the matter was necessary.

For now, it appears that the change in wind direction will cause the remission of this invasion that experts take for habitual under certain circumstances, such as the east wind has blown perpendicular to the coast of La Manga, without having to cause for general alarm.
