El Brujo, José María Pou, Ainhoa ​​Arteta and Ana Belen and Victor Manuel will perform at this year's International Festival of San Javier (28/04/2015)

The 46th International Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance in San Javier, which has the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and Estrella de Levante, will host this year a total of twelve performances that will be featuring artists such as El Brujo José María Pou, Ainhoa ​​Arteta and Ana Belen and Victor Manuel, among others.

Also in this edition it pays tribute to Juan Carlos Rubio, who has co-production of Festival 'Windermere'.

The event, to be held from 1 to 21 August has been presented by the general director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Marta Lopez-Briones, mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, Councilwoman Culture and director of the festival, Inmaculada García, and the head of communications and external relations Estrella de Levante, Juan Miguel Gomez.

Marta Lopez-Briones stressed "the great work that the organizers of this event which has become an essential cultural event each summer and is now in mid-century way. In these years have passed through San Javier the most outstanding actors, singers and dancers who make up a poster each year is completed with companies in the region posing in their new mounts festival ".

On 1 August, the festival opens with a concert by the soprano Ainhoa ​​Arteta, who will perform accompanied by pianist Marino Nicolini to make a musical journey through works by Pergolesi, Scarlatti, Puccini, Albeniz and Granados.

And music will close on 21 Ana Belen and Victor Manuel, presenting his new album 'Songs donated'.

The dance will be led away from the Classic Ballet of St. Petersburg, which will stage the 'Giselle', whose artistic director is the choreographer and soloist of Mariinsky Ballet, Andrey Batalov, cofounder of the company with Andrey Scharaev.

Among the plays scheduled for this edition of the Festival of San Javier include new productions of Rafael Alvarez, based on the life of St. Teresa of Jesus 'El Brujo', 'Teresa or inside the Sun', and José María Pou , 'Socrates', directed by Mario Gas.

A montage 'Women and servants' and 'Our women' with Gabino Diego, Antonio Garrido and Antonio Hortelano, Festival co-productions 'Windermere', a version of Juan Carlos Rubio of 'Lady Windermere's Fan' come together, that Natalia Millan star in 'The Maids' Tabatha Laboratory, and the classic Calderon' The Mayor of Zalamea, directed by José Antonio Navas.

Finally, child and family section has 'The Wizard of Oz' Nacho Vilar Productions, and a musical in 3D on 'Sherlock Holmes'.
