Bridge maintenance Estacio in La Manga del Mar Menor, cease to be an exclusive budgetary burden of the City of San Javier after the City Council has signed today a cooperation agreement with the Puerto Deportivo Tomás Maestre, through which the largest marina in Spain will contribute a total of 2.5 million euros annually over the next 25 years to maintain the bridge.
Utilities Councilman Jose Miguel Luengo said that agreement states that the Marina Tomas Maestre provide 55,000 per year until 2023, and 113,000 per year until 2043. In return the City of San Javier agrees to extend the season Summer brought forward a month and a half months, so it will come from May 15 to October 15 runs.

Currently the maintenance of the bridge Estacio represents an annual expenditure of 130,000 euros, to which 5,000 euros of the increase in cost of enlargement in two and a half months of the summer season are added.
With input from Puerto Tomas Maestre, it will be reduced by 55,000 euros annually during the first phase and 113,000 from 2023.
