The Department of Volunteer and Social Participation of the City of San Javier fired last June 12 during a Volunteer Meeting, attended by 180 people registered and active as volunteers in the municipality by the council.
Councillor Catalina Perez thanked them for the work done throughout the year, the main objective of the meeting which started by a boat trip on the Mar Menor followed by a potluck dinner at the Senior Center of Santiago de la Ribera where there were several performances .
The young pianist, the Conservatory of San Javier, Jorge Enrique acted Echeverri followed by dance groups of the Time Bank as the room that provide volunteers and Begoņa Jorge Cervantes Peņalver;
the sevillanas taught by voluntary Ampara Lopez and tango, who heads the voluntary Juani Osuna.
Catalina Perez noted that despite dismissing the course and closure of the workshops of the Time Bank, the Department of Volunteerism remains active throughout the summer, responding to requests for volunteers arriving during this time and coordinating all actions of social voluntary that remain active during the summer.
