The Jazz Festival of San Javier begins Friday July 3 concerts with Chris Minh Doky & The Nomads, one of the most impressive jazz bands of the world's electricity, with superstars like Dave Weckl and Dean Brown and John Hiatt, one musicians and influential composers of American music with his band, The Combo.

Scandinavian roots music of Chris Minh Doky, integrated and enthusiastically welcomed in American music, represent more attractive for supergroup led by the great Danish bass player, formed by musicians like Dave Weckl, one of the most innovative and outstanding battery jazz fusion.

Weckl treasures a long and successful career both with his own band as a member of groups such as the Michel Camilo Trio and Chick Corea Elektric Band, among others.

Guitarist Dean Brown, essential musician in the contemporary jazz scene, and concerning the new techniques of the electric guitar, add talent this band is completed by keyboardist George Whitty, Grammy Award winner, who has participated in some of the biggest selling records in history of music as "Supernatural" Santana or "Falling Into You" by Celine Dion.

Chris Minh Doky, brother of pianist Niels Lan Doky, much admired in Jazz San Javier, currently enjoys star status in Denmark as he has earned the respect of the elite of American jazz.

Chaka Khan, David Sanborn and Ryuichi Sakamoto are some of the musicians he has played Chris Minh Doky, considered the most important Nordic bassist of his generation.

John Hiatt, one of the most influential songwriters of the rock and respected American Jazz returns to San Javier where he gave three years one of the most memorable concerts of the Festival makes history.

Returns with his band The Combo and new album "Terms of my surrender", number 22 of the long career of this influential composer whose songs have been recorded artists as Bob Dylan, Willy De Ville, BB King, and Eric Clapton, among many others .

Guitarist, pianist and singer John Hiatt has distinguished itself in a wide variety of musical styles especially in rock and country, since it became known after the success of his song "Sure As I'm Sittin 'Here" recorded by Three Dog Night earned him a contract with Epic Records driving the exceptional career that has behind him more than twenty albums published study.

His latest album "Terms of my surrender" (2014) is a bet on the acoustic sound and the return to the roots of American sound.
