One hundred students from different municipalities of the Murcia region and other parts of Spain participate from today until July 5 at the International Course of High Performance Basketball, International University of the Sea, held at the sports facilities San Javier.
The course has again been a success after five editions "which shows the quality of it" said the Councillor for Education Catalina Perez at the opening of the same by the director of UNIMAR Monica Perez Morales Galdana Councilman sports, Carlos Albaladejo and the directors of this course for coaches, players and fans of this sport that becomes the protagonist during the weekend in San Javier.
The course will show participants working methods of high-level professional basketball in a fun but rigorous and specialized in the field of sports teachers from both Murcia, as elsewhere in Spain, Valladolidd, Catalonia, Guipúzkoa way, and outside Spain, from the Professional Basketball League of Venezuela.
Catalalina Perez and the Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo invited students to take advantage of the course while also enjoy your stay in San Javier where this weekend could enjoy also Jazz Festival, the Aidemarcha career or XIII Crossing Beaches in San Javier, but forget the beaches and gastronomy.
The director of the International University of the Sea, said Monica Galdana precisely cultural-sports-tourism dimension UNIMAR courses, and thanked the town of San Javier always demonstrated collaboration with the University, highlighting its role in sport within Region of Murcia.
San Javier hosts four courses this year, on Monday July 6 begins the second year also related to the sport, called "Intervention piscológica functional rehabilitation of sports injuries."
