Antonio Lizana, saxophonist, composer and singer, the new Spanish talent jazz surprises inside and outside our country for its freshness and naturalness when connecting flamenco and jazz, will open a night in which Jazz San Javier surrender of which is again one of the best contemporary jazz singers, the great Dianne Reeves will act with his group and with a new album "Beautiful Life" acclaimed by critics and audiences and distinguished in the 2015 Grammy as Best Jazz Vocal Album of the year.

Dianne Reeves, one of the great jazz vocalists of our time, the successor to the vocal jazz divas like Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington Jazz returns to San Javier, having won the Grammy for Best Vocal Jazz Album 2015 for "Beautiful Life "his first album in five years, produced by the great drummer Terri Lyne Carrington with Dianne Reeves starred in the 15th edition of Jazz San Javier.

Born in Detroit and cousin of the late pianist George Duke, Dianne Reeeves was discovered by trumpeter Clark Terry when he was still a child.

He built musically in California, where after participating in the concert Echoes of Ellington, in Los Angeles, was signed to the prestigious label Blue Note, reinforcing his career and achieving success to reach the prestige it enjoys today.

The winner of five Grammy Awards, and recently named Doctor Honoris Causa by the presitigiosa Juilliard School, sum legions of loyal fans who relish their concerts and discos, from gems like "I Remember", "The Calling: Celebrating Sarah Vaughan" or "A Little Moonlight "his latest album, awarded and acclaimed by critics and audiences," Beautiful Life "in which he demonstrates his virtuosity on the spectrum from jazz to soul and where we find versions like the making of" Waiting in Vain " Bob Marley, or the "Dreams" of Fleeetwood Mac.

Dianne Reeves will offer the second evening concert accompanied by his group composed by the great Brazilian guitarist Romero Lubambo, Peter Martin on piano and keyboards, Reginald Veal on bass and Tereon Gully on drums.

The evening will begin with the septet of young musician Antonio Lizana Cadiz, one of the biggest talents to emerge in recent times in the Spanish jazz.

Saxophonist, arranger, composer and singer, Antonio Lizana studied classical saxophone at the Conservatory of Cadiz, and jazz at the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country, Musikene, where his teachers and Perico Sambeat Mikel Andueza, among others.

Still in the Basque Country, and with 24 years, shapes and publishes its first project "Wind" (2012) his first album that connects novel, jazz and flamenco way strolling with his own group stage various jazz festivals with a "fresh and vibrant" again.

At the same time, this restless musician has continued to cooperate and participate in other projects and with other artists like Chambao, Raimundo Amador, Jose Merce, Rancapino and Miguel Rios, among others.

Also he works as a saxophonist and singer with the Afro-Latin jazz orchestra of Arturo O'Farrill, based in New York.

With their second album, "Chimera Sea" (2015) will present in Jazz San Javier, Antonio Lizana, who was a revelation in the first edition of JazzEñe organized by SGAE, is unstoppable.
