The City of San Javier, through the Department of Education will allocate 40,000 euros in two calls for aid in education, one for buying books and teaching materials for kindergarten students for what will go a total of 18,000 euros, and the other for those students who attend further education outside the municipality, which has a $ 22,000 starting.
The Local Government Board approved at its meeting yesterday the call for the concession of both lines of support that aim to facilitate and promote access to education, including students registered in the city, and help families cope with the expense that entails.
Aid for books and educational materials are aimed at students in 2nd year of Nursery Education (3.4 to 5 years) and will have a maximum of 60 euros per student.
In the case of mobility aids, the amount awarded to each student will depend on the distance from the place where he studies, and may range from 100 to 300 euros per course, for travel in Spain, and 350 euros for international travel.
The call for aid will open within approximately two weeks, once the foundations have been published in the BORM, announcing its opening properly.

Be registered in the municipality of San Javier is the main requirement in both calls which also provide maximum income thresholds established by the Ministry of Education on scholarships, according to the number of members in the family, and that, of the example, a maximum of 32,796 euros for families with 2 members, or 43,402 euros for a family of four.
