The library of San Javier is still in the top of the libraries, for their campaigns and continued efforts to encourage reading.
In the last edition of the competition of projects to encourage reading Maria Moliner, organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports Library of municipalities with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants, it has been at No. 9 out of 500 projects submitted Spain.
In 2013 was the winner of the national contest since 2010 and has never left the top 15 group.
Project Library San Javier, "The Four Seasons of the library", the jury praised the performing programming by station, specializing the activities of the company with the idiosyncrasies of each of the stations, as citizens do, whose lives they are also touched by the seasons, accompanying and naturally the inertia of the community. "In total, in 2014, the library of San Javier developed 178 different activities.
