The mayor, José Miguel Luengo received today in the city of San Javier the manager of the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Region of Murcia, Alfonso Ramon Garcia after his recent appointment as part of an official visit in which were also Security present Councilwoman Teresa Foncuberta, and the municipal coordinator of Civil Protection, Fernando Postigo.
The manager of the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue, Alfonso Ramon Garcia who was accompanied by the technical director of the Consortium, Antonio Bonilla and the sergeant Parque Mar Menor, the mayor expressed his desire to encourage communication and collaboration with the municipality of San Javier, which is part of the Consortium.
At the meeting issues of common concern such as the situation of the infrastructure of the Consortium provides services in the municipality of San Javier on firefighting and infrastructure referred to as the Regional Park Mar Menor were addressed, and the Park La Manga is located in the municipality of San Javier, opposite the Hotel Doblemar.
Mayor Jose Miguel Luengo appreciated the services provided by the consortium in the municipality of San Javier and said that both parties had agreed that the facilities of La Manga Park will host the headquarters of the municipal ambulance in La Manga.
He also explained that he also intends to make this service more visible among neighbors so it has scheduled an exhibition of their technical means to be held in the square, and other initiatives such as first aid courses and the like.
