The Mayor meets with entities related to the City Council requesting the collaboration with the Trade Promotion Plan (25/11/2015)

The mayor, José Miguel Luengo convened on Monday at City Hall representatives of all banks with the City of San Javier has to do to address the improvement of mutual cooperation in various issues of interest, both social as promotion of the economy, for the municipality.

Luengo presented to representatives of banks the Plan to Promote Trade carries with it a number of measures of business development, such as aid for trade for what they called them the cooperation of banks and through an agreement that allows offer advantageous financing conditions for small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs of the municipality.

It also raised the possibility that they made available to the local Plan that may have commercial holdings at reduced rent to encourage and facilitate the launch of new commercial and business projects in the city prices.

The Trade Promotion Plan, whose writing last the Department of Trade and Employment, includes many other measures such as tax changes, implementation of new business incubators, training and other aid, which the heads of the banks of the municipality to which they were given a draft thereof, may provide new ideas as the mayor asked at the meeting.

During the meeting, also attended by the Councillor for Social Services, Estíbaliz Maseogsa, Mayor, José Miguel Luengo gave the bank representatives of the municipality a copy of the motion approved unanimously by the plenary of the municipal corporation in which it is stated San Javier as free municipality of evictions.

The mayor asked them for their cooperation to make available to neighbors with economic difficulties and social rental housing was interested in the current status of the execution of evictions.

Representatives of the banks of the municipality claimed that in recent times had not occurred first eviction of housing by a bank.

Luengo requested the entities related to the City social collaboration through social services and cultural promotion, as do some of the entities to which the Mayor thanked their collaboration.

The meeting was attended by representatives of BBVA, Banco Mare Nostrum, Banco Popular, Banco Sabadell, Banco Santander, CaixaBank, Cajamar Caja Rural Central and Rural Caja San Augustine.

They assessed the meeting were receptive and committed to repeat the meeting within a few months to evaluate together the steps that have been taken by all parties in improving mutual cooperation, which will also include the exchange of data and economic studies on the town.
