The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo reported today that the renovation of asphalt on Avenida El Mirador, in Santiago de la Ribera, will be completed Friday morning during his visit to the works accompanied by the Councillor for Public Services, Maria Dolores Ruiz.
The works affect the avenue, from the roundabout known as the plane until the roundabout junction with Avenida Francisco Franco.
The works financed by the surplus of the 2015 municipal accounts and have led to an expenditure of 91,772.70 euros have involved the renovation of asphalt from a total of 1,300 linear meters with 12,000 square meters of chipboard and signaling.
José Miguel Luengo emphasized the improvement achieved in the vials of the municipality in which this work has become one of the main streets of the northern municipality for entry to Santiago de la Ribera from the Alicante-Cartagena motorway, plus be a main access to the shopping area.
The mayor said the effort being made by the City Council and will continue to on asphalt.
