Quote horticulture occurred today in El Mirador, home to the Sectorial Conference I (29/01/2016)

El Mirador has established itself as a leader in the agricultural sector of the Region of Murcia, with an important role in horticulture, said today the mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo at the opening of the I Sector Day which attracted tens Hortofrutícola of people who filled the boardroom of the Hortamira cooperative in El Mirador, where the conference took place throughout the morning.

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo today recalled the struggle for water scarcity in the history of agriculture in the municipality in which today is "the fruit and vegetable heart" of the Region of Murcia.

The mayor of San Javier, José Miguel Luengo welcomed the assistance of regional authorities in agriculture and the collaboration of both the Diario La Verdad as Caja Rural Central and claimed the importance for the municipality of San Javier has its agriculture.

Luengo expressed confidence in these initiatives, the continuity announced, to continue to address issues of concern to strengthen the sector.
