The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the Mayor of San Javier, Josefa García Hernández, have held a meeting this morning in which they discussed various matters of interest to both governments.
One topic that has focused the attention of the government delegate and the mayor has been the Mar Menor, coinciding both in need of regeneration and conservation, both for environmental and heritage as a source of wealth for individual municipalities that surround it.
In this respect, they conducted a review of the various initiatives to this end are coming to take from the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs.
In another vein, Josefa García, and Rafael González Tovar have agreed to support the Government Delegation to the demands of the City of San Javier in the same application of the Avanza Plan in order to modernize the telematic communication structures in the municipality.
Delegate and mayor have also tried operating on the occasion of the summer and the consequent increase in population in different places, the Civil Guard implemented during that period which is a reinforcement of troops in tourist areas region, as the municipality of San Javier.
Finally, Rafael González Tovar and Josefa Garcia have agreed to maintain contacts on issues of common interest (security, immigration, etc..).
Within that agreement, the government delegate made a subsequent visit to San Javier.
