Murciano Health Service has appointed Jose Antonio Alarcón as new Managing Director of Hospital Los Arcos San Javier, where he relieved Jose Manuel Alart he had submitted his resignation.
The new managing director will have as main challenges the short-term comprehensive approach to the management of a health area and, simultaneously, the opening of new hospital del Mar Menor, which replaces the end of next year the current Hospital Los Arcos.
In addition, the Health Service of Murcia Fátima Núñez has appointed as managing director of Primary Care Management of Murcia, as far occupied José Antonio Alarcón.
Both appointments are effective from tomorrow, August 14.
José Antonio Alarcón González (1959) graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Murcia, a specialist in Family and Community Medicine degree in Health Institutions Management by Business School University of Navarra (IESE).
He has served as a doctor in Los Arcos Hospital Puerta and has held various positions in the health administration of the Region, as coordinator of the Primary Care Team, Medical Director of Primary Care Management of Cartagena and managing director of Primary Care Management of Murcia .
Fátima Núñez Martínez (Albacete 1967) graduated in Medicine Surgery at the University of Murcia, a specialist in Family and Community Medicine.
He has practiced as a doctor in hospital emergency Morales Meseguer and Los Arcos and primary care physician to work as coordinator in the Health Center Cehegín.
To date equipment was coordinating the implementation in Primary Care Management of Murcia.
