The Department of Environment of the municipality of San Javier has increased the service of waste collection this summer in La Manga with an extended service hours of mobile eco-park and the addition of five collection points with specific containers have been located in Souk, Manga Beach, Hawaii IV, Superior, and Oasis.
Since early summer, the council launched an information campaign with the goal of neighbors and residents have the information necessary to enable them to dispose of waste for recycling selected the most convenient way possible.
In this regard the council of the Environment, José Luis Espinosa, recalled that in addition to the five civic amenity sites permanently and the mobile eco-park is very helpful as it collects from oil, clothing, small appliances, fluorescent lamps, batteries, medicines or paintings, among others.
Espinosa has highlighted the good performance of this service so far this summer in La Manga and announced incremental improvements in it, along with public awareness campaigns to influence personal commitment to the selection of waste within the broad program that waste management in the Department develops the whole municipality.
