The Department of Traffic Safety has announced that the City of San Javier begin to make effective legislation to ban the parking of trucks and heavy vehicles in all urban areas of the municipality, after a campaign report that was developed in the past two months, as reported by the council responsible for the area, Manuel Leal.
The Traffic Safety mayor added that the objective of this measure, which passed the last two legislatures, is to provide new parking for residents in urban areas, achieve greater fluency in the local traffic, to avoid discomfort and reduce risk .
Leal noted complaints from neighbors in this regard are frequent and consistent, particularly those living in areas affected by the parking of these vehicles who complain of noise especially troublesome at night, smells and unhealthy gas emissions.
Manuel Leal explained that his department conducted an information campaign in this direction during the months of July and August, in addition to placing informational signs at all entrances of the town on the prohibition of parking for heavy vehicles in urban areas, which is not compromises their ability to move normally and perform their routine tasks of loading and unloading.
When parking, the owners of these vehicles must do so within the target buildings and facilities, whether closed or open, enabled for it, and if not, are obliged to move away from residential areas outside the city using urban.
Manuel Leal recalled the existence of a heavy vehicle parking for private purposes in a secure enclosure and located at kilometer 0.5 of the Road to San Javier Roda.
