The young Maria Jesus Castellon has been chosen Miss Tourism La Manga 2008 at the gala held last Saturday in Bohemia in the town square, which also elected Mr. Tourism, that went to José Sánchez Ginés.
The celebrations of Tourism of La Manga were held during the past weekend with a successful record of public participation, "said Councilman Jose Luis Espinosa.
The festivities, organized by the association of residents of La Manga and the towns of Cartagena and San Javier, told this year with a sample typical cuisine of different countries in a total of 13 houses that were visited by thousands of people for 3 days than those that remained open.
Argentina, USA, Italy, Germany, Mexico and the Netherlands were among the participating countries, represented by residents of La Manga of the nationalities.
The program of activities centered in the Plaza Bohemia has included various competitions, exhibitions, games and theater for children, parties with live music, an exhibition of trial bike, and a concentration of custom bikes that ended last Sunday to this edition of the festival of Tourism organizers say has broken attendance records.
