The Mayor of San Javier Pepa Garcia, the Security council, Manuel Leal, and the rest of the municipal corporation have this morning attended the Mass in honor of the patron saint of the Guardia Civil, the Virgen del Pilar, which was held in Santiago de la Ribera, which has followed a wine offered by the City on the occasion of the commemorative events organized by the Civil Guard station in the municipality.
The sergeant in the Civil Guard barracks in Santiago de la Ribera, Antonio Miller has served as host at a ceremony attended by the local police chief of San Javier, Antonio Castejon, the National Police Officer Luis Ruiz and the captain Alberto Pina, representing the Academia General del Aire.
After the religious ceremony, four members of the Civil Guard has released the image of the Virgen del Pilar Sandoval procession through the avenue of Santiago de la Ribera to the civic center "Prince of Asturias" which held the wine offered by City Hall.
After the hymn to the patron who had sung all Civil Guard officers, the sergeant of the post of Santiago de la Ribera Antonio Millán opened the wine with a toast to "His Majesty, by the Guardia Civil and Spain", and alive to the Virgen del Pilar, supported by all attendees.
The mayor of San Javier Pepa Garcia congratulated "on behalf of the Corporation and the town of San Javier to the Guardia Civil on the day of their patron saint for the work for so many years playing in the municipality of San Javier", and stressed "the excellent relations it maintains the body of the Civil Guard, through the barracks in Santiago de la Ribera with the municipality in San Javier and mutual collaboration with the local police maintained that translates into greater security for all citizens" .
