Social Services Center of San Javier has launched a series of workshops for children, 8 to 12 years old, which are held outside school hours in San Javier, Santiago de la Ribera and El Mirador.
The workshops of various topics, have been called "Cuentarte" and are part of the socio mediation that takes place every year in the primary schools of the municipality, in the framework of Immigrant Social Service Center St. Javier.
The workshops revolve around the book and reading, with activities such as Decorate your library, Dress up your story, Gymkhana "know your library," Storytelling and animation and great games, among others.
Be taught in two sessions per month, from 17 to 19h in San Javier, in the civic center "Parque Almansa, and Santiago de la Ribera on the premises of the Centre of Social Services.
In El Mirador is 16 to 18horas and taught in local civic center.
The workshops, free of charge and voluntary offer at an early stage during October, November and December, and a second phase in January and February 2009 in two sessions a month, a fortnight, in each of the three locations held.
