San Javier held tomorrow the big day of their patron saint (02/12/2008)

San Javier held tomorrow the big day of festivities to mark the feast of St. Francis Xavier.

The morning session will begin with a musical parade, and concelebrated Mass to be held in the parish church of St Francis Xavier at 11.30 pm, chaired by the Mayor and other local authorities.

After the Mass will be celebrated the traditional concert by the band of the General Air Academy which this time returns to its original location in the Plaza of Spain, where the choir will perform along with Stella Maris Björk, San Javier , at 13:00.

The singer Carlos Oray liven up their show "Tango Embrace" coffee hour in the park Almansa festive tent where he will act to 16.30 h.

The procession with the image of the saint, accompanied by the authorities and hundreds of neighbors, leave the parish church at 19.30 to go through the main streets of downtown San Javier.

On his way down the street Javelin will launch the traditional fireworks display.

The tent, where these days and to remain open on December 8 of 15 barracks of the rocks festive, will again fire assembly point for the day with a dance party with the orchestra "Show Band".

On Thursday, December 4 will be installed in the plaza of Spain and around a large medieval market will be open until 8 December.

At night, the tent hosts a special festival dedicated to the music of San Javier with the performance of groups "Last" and "Return", a former local band, whose components have been reunited after many years an exclusive repertoire of the 70 and 80.
