The mayor of San Javier Pepa Garcia and the president of Telephone of Hope, Jesus Madrid this morning signed a cooperation agreement between the City of San Javier and partnership Phone Esperanza, Amit San Javier for the development of a program emotional health courses targeted at the general adult population, which has no critical problems, but that is of vital importance in the social structure, as explained by the Mayor.
Pepa García explained that this is a "framework agreement that will go specifically to the financial contributions that made the City Council to conduct the courses."
The Mayor of San Javier has stressed the importance of this convention because the activity contemplated is directed to a sector of society, the adult "apparently without problems", which is unassisted to get out of specific programs of other institutions or that when dealing with children, the elderly, or disadvantaged sectors.
Pepa García has said that it is "a good initiative that will be very productive for the citizens of San Javier and the region" because it is taught from the phone market town of Esperanza in San Javier, and aims to make reference center for the entire area.
Jesus Madrid stressed that the telephone of Hope is a pioneer in addressing the emotional health, across Europe, in addition to caring for people in crisis.
Madrid has announced courses for 2009, which addressed the care of caregivers, volunteer training, stress management and anxiety, and art to communicate well.
Phone President of Hope thanked the attention paid by the municipality of San Javier and stressed the involvement and motivation have shown the citizens of this region to the proper activity of this NGO and non-profit.
