Exposure Paper Nativity displays in the church of San Javier an international collection of cut-paper cribs until January 6 (18/12/2008)

The exhibition "Nativity of paper" which opens today at the Church of St. Francis Xavier and will be open until January 6, contains over 50 cut-paper nativities from different countries, especially Germany and Czech Republic Italy, where there is a strong tradition in this type of crib.

Spain stands in Catalonia and the Basque Country, which are also present in the exhibition, which features a representation of Murcia, like Asensio Sáez, master of The Union, which pays homage in this show, as explained by Jose Ballester, parish museum director in San Javier, which along with pastor José León, and the Councillor for Tourism and Celebrations, Jesus Montesinos this morning exposure.

The exhibition, which opens officially this afternoon at 20:30 h.
