The mayor of San Javier Pepa Garcia and the manager of the automotive trade Ribercar, John Smith has this morning signed a cooperation agreement between the Department of Education and the said company, to develop a course in vehicle maintenance assistant, through an Initial Vocational Training program involving a total of 15 youth in the municipality.
The presentation of that convention was attended by the Councillor for Education and José Angel Noguera Administration chief José Antonio Pardo Ribercar.
Through the agreement, the company said Ribercar, undertakes to educate and provide students practice in their shops, "where will fully prepared to apply for a job in any service vehicle", as noted by John Martínez.
Young people between 16 and 21 who are not in possession of evidence of Secondary Education, also receive comprehensive theoretical training throughout the course which will run until 30 September.
The mayor of San Javier, Pepa García has said that it is a very suitable vocational training for young people who for whatever reason have failed secondary education and especially for those interested in the automotive industry.
"It may be a first step for these young people will continue with other higher grades and improve their professional qualifications," added the Mayor has announced the possibility of new calls for the same course if there is demand.
