Jazz San Javier offers an evening of jazz with the sound European Scandinavian trio founded by Swedish pianist Martin Tingvall, jazz and flamenco and Mediterranean Jerez-Texas with the great trumpeter David Shepherd as one of the guest artists.

A journey through the roads from north to south runs the jazz in the old continent compared with more traditional sounds of American jazz.

Jerez-Texas, who returns to San Javier with new album "Sun" (2009) meets the flamenco guitar of Ricardo Esteve, classical cello and drums Matthieu Saglio jazzy Jesus Gimeno.

Flamenco, classical music and jazz come together in an open style and constantly enriched with new influences and guest artists, as in this case the trumpeter David Shepherd, a regular contributor to the jazz greats Spanish and international artists as Clark Terry, and Paquito D'Rivera, among many others, and singers Isabel Julve and Abdoulaye N'Diaye.

Jerez-Texas was formed in Valencia in 2002 and has since worked on an interesting proposal not without difficulty that all three components have been able to save a master, and no musical prejudices, forming an unprecedented trio with which they have triumphed in the most 300 shows that have already offered worldwide.

Precisely their previous concerts in San Javier have been milestones in his career, including his own state components, with the support of a San Javier Jazz Festival as they bet on the group since its inception.

His recording career began in 2005 with "Saó", followed by "Live au Satellit Café" (2006), "Patchwork" (2007) and "Sun" came to light last May.
