The Government of Spain has paid EUR 163,466,979 in 646 works of the Murcia region involving the creation of 12,826 jobs so far
The Government Delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the Mayor of San Javier, Josefa García Hernández, this morning visited the works of the new access to the Hospital del Mar Menor that run within the municipality projects financed by the Fund Local Investment.
Visited the works consist of asphalt paving, connection of water and sanitation, street lighting and sidewalks to provide access from Highway San Javier-Sucina the New Regional Hospital del Mar Menor.
These works have a budget of EUR 1,767,085 fully funded by the Government of Spain that has already paid 70 percent of the amount for initial implementation and will create 22 direct jobs.
Moreover, the government delegate reported that the municipality of San Javier him 5.1 million euros under the responsibility of that State Fund works to make this year.
The City Council presented a total of 17 projects, of which 14 have already received initial funding accordingly.
In total, the Government of Spain has paid 2,914,405 euros for these projects.
The other three projects are awaiting final assessment by the Ministry of Land Policy.
González Tovar, explained that so far, the work already funded generate 208 jobs in the municipality, of which 124 are newly created and 84 jobs for persons within the successful tenderers.
The Local Investment Fund to date
Finally, Gonzalez Tovar has been reported to date, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to 44 municipalities in the region EUR 163,466,979, corresponding to 646 projects have received funding for the 70 percent of the total project payment.
Also pointed out that 30% is being delivered upon completion of each performance and justify the investment with the Government of Spain.
In this sense, González Tovar explained that since late last June, is beginning to pay the completion of the work of the State Fund in the Region of Murcia.
In particular, Lorca and Santomera municipalities have already received payment of three of its projects.

"
Likewise, the delegate explained that the number of jobs created and financed the works awarded the Local Investment Fund, which to date have already created 12,826 jobs, of these, 4,199 are newly created, and 8,627 of persons within the successful tenderers.
The Government delegate pointed out that the Region of Murcia has been the recipient of 246.3 M € of this fund and once the presentation phase of projects, 673 projects submitted were approved by the 45 municipalities in the region.
