The mayor of San Javier Pepa Garcia has received in the municipality of San Javier to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, the French village of Castelnau-le-Lez, Guy Philippe and Jean Pierre Grand, respectively transmitted to him the intention to commence process of twinning with the town of San Javier.

The mayor of San Javier explained that the time will begin friendships with the French municipality as a way to start what could in future be a partnership.
Castelnau-le-Lez, has about 20,000 inhabitants and is located in the northwest of the city of Montpellier in southern France, near the Mediterranean Sea and belongs to the Hérault department in Languedoc-Roussillon region.
