Felipe San Javier Otero explained in Andalusian style thirty oil paintings (29/09/2009)

The Municipal Museum of San Javier hosts until Oct. 18 an exhibition of paintings by Felipe Otero Roldán, showing thirty figurative oil paintings and various subjects.

Birth Cordoba, Felipe Otero frequents the Andalusian motifs, from landscapes and villages of whitewashed houses, to dancers, folk festivals, religious celebrations, bullfighting scenes and horses, with variations on a theme.

The mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of the painter, family and friends, said the work clearly inspired colorful Andalusian Felipe Otero, who soon left to settle in Madrid Córdoba where he arrived in Los Alcazares to enjoy retirement and his desire to paint.

The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 09:30 to 14:00

and in the evenings from 16:00 to 19:00, and Sundays from 10:30

to 14:00 h.
