The mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia and the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana + this morning placed the first stone of the Centre for Child Care to be built in Santiago de la Ribera, with a budget of 1,833. 788 euros, of which the municipality of San Javier will provide 833,788 euros, and the rest of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The new Center for Child Care of Santiago de la Ribera, will be located on a municipal plot of 3,000 meters on the street Lozoya, together with the Faculty of Sport Sciences, and have built 1,300 square meters, in which distributed 6 classrooms, multipurpose room, meeting room, kitchen and administration.
The mayor of San Javier, Pepa Garcia explained that the new facility, whose works have a lead time of 9 months "will have capacity to serve 82 children from 4 months to 3 years, and have a classroom for children up to January 1, two classrooms for children 2 years and another 2 for 3 years. "
The ceremony of laying the first stone of the Centre for Child Care has assisted the councilman of Social Services, Maria Angeles Chum, and the director general of Family and Children in the Region of Murcia, Laura Muñoz.
Pepa Garcia stressed that the new Centre, which incorporates an advanced solar-powered air conditioning that "prevents sudden temperature changes for small, have a schedule compatible with the working hours of families as they meet the twin goals of care education of children and to reconcile work and family schedule. "
The mayor of San Javier stressed the importance of the start of construction "because it is an aspiration and a request long demanded by the citizens of Santiago de la Ribera."
