The Virgin of Loreto school raised 2,337 euros miles Solidarity with the race, for children in Ivory Coast (17/12/2009)

The Virgin of Loreto College City Air, in Santiago de la Ribera raised a total of 2337.25 euros through the race, "Miles of Solidarity" held at school on 20th November, coinciding with International Day of the Rights of the Child.

The amount raised has gone through the NGO Save the Children to charities aimed at children from Ivory Coast.

The initiative launched by this organization in Spain moved to all students at the school, families and teachers.

Proceeds from the money contributed by the family for every lap completed the students who sponsored a circuit inside the schoolyard.
