The Carnival of Santiago de la Ribera delayed for the third consecutive year the great carnival parade on February 21 "Piñata Sunday" to welcome the groups of other municipalities in the region who want to march.
The invitation is accompanied by prizes for the best troupes from outside the county, with a prize of 1,000, 500 and 300 euros for the first, second and third respectively.
The parade will leave on February 21 at 16:00 pm
from the esplanade Barnuevo and have a 2 kilometers through the avenue that joins Santiago de la Ribera and San Javier.

The carnival parade in Santiago de la Ribera is one of the most participatory in the region of Murcia.
Last year, involving a total of 40 extras in a parade that was watched by thousands.
The parade will end on 21 carnival program begins on Saturday 13 February with the election of the Queen of Carnival title you are 5 Muses, and on Sunday 14 with the election of the Queen Children between 6 muses candidates.
All acts of the Carnival will be held in the marquee on the Esplanade Barnuevo, in the center of town.
