The municipality of San Javier has been a pioneer in the Region of Murcia to implement a management system for municipal inventory which lists in detail all the assets of the council, which have undergone a thorough review , updating and assessment.
To date, all information has been computerized on the municipal inventory until December 31, 2007 with a total value of 386,372,910.93 euros, and now, once all data are digitized works in the next two years for updated.
Among the inventoried assets include property, in addition to substantial are those that allow greater value to the total, which also joined movable from a chair to a computer, or any other object.
The municipal inventory records, also, street by street, all municipal roads in the street owned by the municipality, whose chips are assessed the infrastructure available and the status of each one of them.
The revised inventory occupies more than 17,000 pages through the computerization of the system can locate any property in a second by identifying each one of them using a bar code, which already exists in the municipal assets.
This identification allows instantaneous tracking the life of the property until low cause impairment, which facilitates and speeds up the knowledge on the status of each well knowing at every moment of the goods available and under what conditions found.
Heritage councilor, Jose Angel Noguera has welcomed "because this project began in 2006 has been finally approved by Parliament as it updates the City's assets that will solve any problem for the future in this sense, in addition to placing the town of San Javier in the XXI century as a heritage inventory management concerns. "
