The public library in San Javier in collaboration with the organization dedicated to poetry Poetry Stanza Mar Menor Group, has launched a poetry workshop multilingual and multicultural to be held the first Wednesday of each fortnight in the library of San Javier, 10 : 00h to 12:00 h.
The workshop is open to people of any language, poetry fans, who will read their poems in the group for comment by the rest, as well as the work of contemporary poets in order to deepen their knowledge of contemporary poetry.
The papers submitted by participants will be posted on a blog that will give international recognition.
The meetings do not require pre-registration and are open to the public interest in poetry.
Stanza Mar Menor Poetry Group, one of the many branches of the century-old Poetry Society created in the UK in 1909.
The Mar Menor was created two years ago and since then meets in the civic center of San Javier.
Its members write poems then put together with the rest of the group, which holds meetings in English mainly.
Any person, lover of poetry, you can join the group, which has members from different nationalities.
The Poetry Society has over twenty Stanzas in the UK, and many others scattered throughout the world.
In Spain, operates two groups, one in Alicante and the Mar Menor.
