Social Services publishes a guide of the municipality socio-Spanish, English and Arabic (18/02/2010)

The Department of Social Services of the municipality of San Javier has published a guide socio municipality of San Javier, in Spanish, English and Arabic, with the objective of providing assistance, especially to all families with children between 3 and 12 years age, and in general to the entire school community, as explained by the Mayor today, Pepa García has submitted the guide along with the councilman of Social Services, Maria Angeles Chum and the authors of the text, the social worker, Alicia Balseiro, and social mediator, Eugenia Contreras, belonging both to the center of Social Services of San Javier.

The guides are available for families in every school in the county, are intended for the general population and in particular to the families who come to town from other countries that may clear up any doubt about the Spanish educational system and all the possibilities offered to adult education.

In another chapter focuses on the operation of preschools and primary schools, with information about the enrollment process, or details of life in the center, with a section on scholarships and grants.

The guide has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Education and schools in the county, includes a chapter on rights and duties of parents and students, and other annexes which are translated into English and Arabic, from the calendar school to request a printed citation in the center, or justify absences.

A section with all the addresses and telephone numbers for families with school children from both the fields of education, as entertainment or health, complete guide nature and size makes it a user-friendly tool for all, as noted by the Mayor, Pepa García has highlighted the usefulness of this guide is also for the entire educational community, and indirectly professionals working with schools and social services.

The presentation of the guide is already on the street agrees with the process of applying for places in schools, so it can be very useful for families who now start their relationship with their children's schools, said Councilwoman Social Services, Maria Angeles Chum.
