The Department of Parks and Gardens has completed the landscaping work of a green area of 7,137 meters square, Garden City, San Javier with the planting of various trees and shrubs in the selection criteria have prevailed both aesthetic and functional by choosing specimens easily adapted to this area.
Other species have been planted, varieties of pine and Afghan pine, poplar, acacia Japan, olive trees, ground cover such as juniper and geranium varieties together with prairie grass, and other typical Mediterranean bushes, some with the largest bloom of the year, bringing color to this green area away for years without landscaping.
In all cases we have sought the low water consumption and the rapid growth of selected species.
Councilman Parks and Gardens, Antonio Garcerán has again appeal to the awareness of citizens about the conservation of our green spaces "that are for the enjoyment of all, and especially pet owners to be responsibility for the stay of animals in public spaces and make use of the pipicanes.
Garcerán recalled that already pipicanes in many parks and public spaces in the city, and continue to be progressively installed in those parks that do not already have them.
