The mayor of San Javier Pepa Garcia said yesterday in Madrid institutional commitment of the municipality of San Javier "for design as an indispensable language in social and cultural context in which we operate", to collect Visual Design Award Books 2009 in the Cover Design category, obtained by the book "8 / 40" published by the municipality of San Javier and logo designed by Creative, in a ceremony held at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid, during the annual Awards granted by the graphic design magazine "Visual".
The cover of the book "8 / 40" published in 2009 by the City of San Javier on the 40th anniversary of Theatre and Dance Festival in San Javier, played with the concepts of "Shutter" and "Iris" (8 / 40) explained the director of Insignia Creative Nacho de Santiago, to transmit the last 8 editions of the Festival through the images captured by photographer Peter H, accompanied by texts of many of the actors and directors appearing in their pages.
